Find your flow with Jennifer Lovas and Black Sheep Yoga for a Vinyasa Yoga session. Vinyasa, which translates from Sanskrit to “flow” or “to move in a special way,” emphasizes the synergy between breath and movement. Flowing through inventive and thoughtful sequences of sun salutations, standing & seated postures, back bending, and inversions – guided by a steady breath, warms the body inside out, allowing the practitioner to move deeper into poses while helping to build strength and flexibility while staying present and centered. Flowing around any obstacles that come your way, this energetic practice will empower you with the strength to face anything.
This yoga style is inherently diverse, and the class sequencing will vary based on each teacher’s personal training/certifications and musical preference, as to what may be played during your class. Our instructors will always offer pose modifications that are appropriate for beginners through advanced yogis.
