2022 Nissan Super Girl Pro: Oceanside, CA

The 16th annual Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro, powered by Celsius wrapped their three-day WSL North America and Hawaii/Tahiti Nui QS 3000 surf contest and festival with 17 year-old San Clemente native Sawyer Lindblad defeating defending Super Girl Surf Oceanside Champ and US Olympian Caroline Marks in a closing spectacle. Lindblad, the current North American No. 1, is now the youngest competitor to take the coveted Super Girl Pro Surf cape, topping 2019 champ and fellow San Clemente surfer Samantha Sibley by a few months.

2021 Super Girl Surf Pro: Jacksonville Beach, FL

2021 Nissan Super Girl Pro: Oceanside, CA

The Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro wrapped its 15th annual three-day festival event at Oceanside Pier on Sunday, crowning Team USA Olympian Caroline Marks with the coveted Super Girl cape — a title the 19-year-old phenom has been chasing since her first appearance in 2014. Marks came close several times, making it to the Semifinals in 2017 and 2019 and finishing as runner-up in 2018. She battled Hometown Hero, 16-year-old Caitlin Simmers, to victory with an incredible air reverse, sparking what the judges called “fireworks in the ocean.”
